what a crock.. big science my butt… i am gonna sound like the studio 60 .. science scmience bit

i was watching the discovery channel and the series, big science came on… (oddly enough .. there is a frame that says creation ??? )

as the program started.. there was no disclaimer that this was all conjecture or hypothesis (should not even be theory … look it up) it started with views of the earth 4.4. billion years ago.. right before it was hit by another planet called thea … what??? did i miss something in science class.. my astonomy class in boulder??? so.. we are walking on thea and part of it is the moon… well.. whatever…. it went on to go though the ‘evolution’ of everything from the inhospitable gaseous volcanic environment to spawning jelly fish in the ocean.. ok.  then  went on to classify and show the timeline of pre-fish, giant sea scorpions, amphibians that came from fish that crawled up on land, the scorpions that grew smaller cause their pre lungs could only support a certain size, the amphibians that ate them… then the reptiles and the pre mammiliam reptiles ? ok.

every break just started in where it left off… giving narrative to things that they could not ever know.. and dish it out as fact. with the graphics that look decent.. kids these days just absorb it.. and have no concept of what millions of years looks liek.. and that there were no cameras back then.. filming this… they gave anthropological data, and information like they observed that these animals did not like the dung in the intestines so they would shake them out (seriously… that was part of the program)… all the while.. there was a clock that was counting down millions of years like milliseconds

what ever happened to giving proof of the evolution… other than pointing to variants in finches or flies …  of which they only account for differences in existing ‘kinds’ not cross species.  it just tells us that in certain systems and situations.. one kind or color moths survives better than the other… not that the other color or kind came about because of a change in the system.  we have never seen a moth turn into anything other than a moth… or even another kind of moth.

what ever happened to debating darwinian evolution, neodarwinian evolution, punctuated equillibrium, the hopeful monster theory, creation, intelligent design, we don’t know.

don’t tell us that we came from the primordial soup.. when you tell us in the same text books that pasteur disproves spontaneous generation… tell us how a mutation or evolutionary change in one animal would be passed on.. say like the reproductive system… wouldn’t you need to other sex to make it work in the first place?  does that opposite sex just randomly happen too?  out of nothingness and the primordial soup that would contain the chemical structure that would be destructive to amino acids or simple proteins.

i just hate that this crude is shoved down our throats and it actually takes more faith to believe that we are related to jellyfish and bacteria then to believe that God created everything and let certain natural systems work the way they do…

haven’t you heard that we are losing thousands of species a day due to extinction?  if that is true.. and evolution is true.. then something is off… there should be more and more diversity each day, each hundred years, each thousand years..

see… that is what happens when you take God out of schools… you get pseudo science trying to validate our existance without God being the catalyst.  we get theories like carl sagan that had to conseed that molecular biology and the complexity of dna and amino acids/proteins could not happen by chance … so had to say that a dna rich comet or space ship needed to crash on earth to start life here.. uh.. ok.
