so another flipping shooting by a whackadoo .. this time killing a guard at the holocaust memorial museum in DC.

in the past few weeks, we had the killing of george tiller (the baby killer abortionist), we had the shooting in alabama army recruiting center where one of the 2 recruiters shot is dead… but you would not know it happened based on the volume of coverage for george tiller.

and today, the shooting by some 89 year old white supremacist james von brunn… who took a rifle and a sawed off shotgun i think.. and shot a guard before two other guards shot him.

some are going to play the political game and say that this was a right wing extremist…

no.. this is a freaking hard core neo-nazi douche bag that does not represent any sane view on society.  i also hear that he is part of the 9/11 truth conspiracy movement as well and will be celebrated as a hero to taking action … and specifically against the jews.

the guy that shot george tiller is a douche and a crazy fruit cake.  he does not truly believe in pro-life.. as his action contradicts the message of the sanctity of life… no matter what stage.

the guy that shot the recruiters is a douche and a crazy fruit cake.  he is a recent convert to islam… and said that he felt this was a act of war so does not consider his actions murder.  hey janet napolitano, does this count as a man made disaster? and i did not see muslims listed in that list of domestic terrorists of yours.  and odd that during obama giving his speeches in muslim countries, this story has been buried

this guy shooting at a holocaust memorial is a freaking douche.  he is an old man.. but i would water board him.  i would put him into stress positions.  i would just junk punch the hell out of him… just because

this is as clear a sign that it does not matter the politics, the religion, whatever… some people are just freakin crazy and have no sense of what it means to live in a country that starts with: We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness.

these guys have no right to take these unalienable rights away from any other person

i am not a catholic… but i love that denver has the honor of having archbishop charles j. chaput serving at the archdioceses of denver.

yesterday, nancy pelosi was on meet the press with tom brokaw and made statements about abortionwhen asked about barack obamas answer at the saddleback forum…  i knew she was a little batty… but these answers were just goofy… and completely against her catholic faith.

i love that he smacked her down with the bonhoeffer spanky stick

spank you very much mr chaput… we have known that nancy pelosi has been a little kooky .. like her saying that we need to move away from our dependance on fossil fuels and move to natural gas (which IS a fossil fuel.. and her family has investments in natural gas… hmmm maybe a bit of conflict of interest?)

To Catholics of the Archdiocese of Denver:
Catholic public leaders inconvenienced by the abortion debate tend to take a hard line in talking about the “separation of Church and state.” But their idea of separation often seems to work one way. In fact, some officials also seem comfortable in the role of theologian. And that warrants some interest,not as a “political” issue, but as a matter of accuracy and justice.

Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi is a gifted public servant of strong convictions and many professional skills. Regrettably, knowledge of Catholic history and teaching does not seem to be one of them.

Interviewed on Meet the Press August 24, Speaker Pelosi was asked when human life begins. She said the following:
“I would say that as an ardent, practicing Catholic, this is an issue that I have studied for a long time. And what I know is over the centuries, the doctors of the church have not been able to make that definition . . . St. Augustine said at three months. We don’t know. The point is, is that it shouldn’t have an impact on the woman’s right to choose.”
Since Speaker Pelosi has, in her words, studied the issue “for a long time,” she must know very well one of the premier works on the subject, Jesuit John Connery’s Abortion: The Development of the Roman Catholic Perspective (Loyola, 1977). Here’s how Connery concludes his study:
“The Christian tradition from the earliest days reveals a firm antiabortion attitude . . . The condemnation of abortion did not depend on and was not limited in any way by theories regarding the time of fetal animation. Even during the many centuries when Church penal and penitential practice was based on the theory of delayed animation, the condemnation of abortion was never affected by it. Whatever one would want to hold about the time of animation, or when the fetus became a human being in the strict sense of the term, abortion from the time of conception was considered wrong, and the time of animation was never looked on as a moral dividing line between permissible and impermissible abortion.”
Or to put it in the blunter words of the great Lutheran pastor Dietrich Bonhoeffer:

“Destruction of the embryo in the mother’s womb is a violation of the right to live which God has bestowed on this nascent life. To raise the question whether we are here concerned already with a human being or not is merely to confuse the issue. The simple fact is that God certainly intended to create a human being and that this nascent human being has been deliberately deprived of his life. And that is nothing but murder.”
Ardent, practicing Catholics will quickly learn from the historical record that from apostolic times, the Christian tradition overwhelmingly held that abortion was grievously evil. In the absence of modern medical knowledge, some of the Early Fathers held that abortion was homicide; others that it was tantamount to homicide; and various scholars theorized about when and how the unborn child might be animated or “ensouled.” But none diminished the unique evil of abortion as an attack on life itself, and the early Church closely associated abortion with infanticide. In short, from the beginning, the believing Christian community held that abortion was always, gravely wrong.
Of course, we now know with biological certainty exactly when human life begins. Thus, today’s religious alibis for abortion and a so-called “right to choose” are nothing more than that – alibis that break radically with historic Christian and Catholic belief.
Abortion kills an unborn, developing human life. It is always gravely evil, and so are the evasions employed to justify it. Catholics who make excuses for it – whether they’re famous or not – fool only themselves and abuse the fidelity of those Catholics who do sincerely seek to follow the Gospel and live their Catholic faith.
The duty of the Church and other religious communities is moral witness. The duty of the state and its officials is to serve the common good, which is always rooted in moral truth. A proper understanding of the “separation of Church and state” does not imply a separation of faith from political life. But of course, it’s always important to know what our faith actually teaches.

i did not watch the saddleback fun fiesta with rick warren, john mccain, and barack obama until today…. i wanted to see how others responded and then see if what they were saying matched what i saw.

i have written before about how i wonder about rick warren injecting himself into a lot of issues and areas that may not seem appropriate… and how i am not a big fan of mega churches… but i think this was a good ‘debate’

i just have one thing to say… barack got spanked.  he looked like he does when he is not in fron tof a podium.. a lot of ummms, pauses, and just not the articulate barack that we have all come to love

i dont like mccain … but he gave answers that showed a level of understanding of the issues that just blew barack out of the water… so much so that the left is claiming that john mccain somehow cheated.

one of the biggest things for me was the question about when life began … he said something about theological view or political view and ‘it’s above my pay grade.’ ???


it is a simple question.. about when HE… BARACK thought about when life begins … is it conception? is it when the heart starts beating at 8 weeks? is it when the baby is viable? is it when the baby takes its first breath? even i can answer that… and i am a knuckle dragging not allowed to vote immigrant

he is running for president of the united states.  probably going to appoint a few supreme court justices as the others age out and die… and one of the major issues that they will tackle will be Roe v Wade…

that is the pay grade he is running for.

i am not running for president and can tell you that by definition, life begins at conception… when the cells start to split with the babies own dna… unique from mother or father…. we all agree that even yeast is alive… and all it does is split and fart..

in a surprise ruling that was led by justice kennedy… they upheld the ban on late term abortion….

i just have some questions for those that go in for this procedure… where they basically deliver the babys head… kill it and then call it an abortion.

life of the mother???  how many cases have there been where the life of the mother was in jeopardy and they had to perform this procedure?  if it is really a medical emergency… why are these procedures generally done in clinics like planned parenthood… instead of hospitals and emergency rooms?

how about the 6 months that you have BEFORE it becomes a late term or partial birth abortion… when it is still legal to kill your developing baby…  too busy partying?  even in cases of rape and incest… isn’t 3-5 months enough time to get yourself to a clinic and abort the baby that you do not feel you deserve to be burdened with or that seems like an abomination to have a blood relatives child….

why do you use abortion rights advocates and abortion rights opponents… instead of what it used to be… pro-choice and pro-life….  i guess at this point.. you realize that a baby can be delivered at 21 weeks (in the second trimester) and survive… be viable.

don’t the 3d ultrasounds and fiber optic camera shots on the discovery channel and tlc show more and more that it is not just a blob of flesh.. but a baby… just really really little and in a stage of development..

kudos to th justices for starting the process where discussion can start on roe vs wade… and give the decision back to the states… again.. another misrepresentation my the pro-choice crowd… over turning  roe v. wade will not make abortions illegal… it will give the choice back to the people in each state to say whether their state will allow or disallow abortion

our newly elected democratic state congress has started imposing their will on the people

there is a bill in colorado that is seeking to require all 6th grade girls to be immunized for hpv before they will be allowed to register .. as 4 strains of hpv seem to lead to cervical cancer….

the issue here is that.. unlike something that can be passed like chicken pox or measles.. hpv is an std.

trying to prevent cervical cancer is great… but again.. this is a preventable disease… if it goes down the hpv route.

we need to play that little thing called the logic game..

most if not all hpv leads to cervical cancer, but not all cervical cancer is caused by hpv.

how about displasia and genetics…

if they want to start giving 11 year old girls shots to keep them from getting an std… hmm … by all means give them the choice to be a ho. wait.. skank.

with all the sex ed that has been going on.. and all the free condoms and all of that… you would think that stds would be on the decline.. but hmm… they are not.

maybe the information that they are passing out is faulty.. maybe… instead of saying abstinence information is going to cause more kids to have more unprotected sex.. they should see that their junk science has led to more people having stds, unplanned pregnancies, abortions… and wasting loads of money… when abstinence requires nothing… it is free.

don’t want to get an std? don’t have physical contact.
don’t wanna get pregnant? yeah… don’t have physical contact.

common sense … but they try to make it more complicated…

as i was working last night… my wife watched a couple of recorded episodes of greys anatomy…

the words just popped out.. and i was shocked.

one of the neonatologist ladies was talking about aborting her lovers child.. and actually used..

‘i aborted mark’s baby

they said it multiple times during the show… ‘i aborted your baby’ ‘i aborted marks baby’ ‘she aborted my child’

they did not use the word fetus. they did not talk about a blastoma, they did not talk about a blob of cells… they used the word baby… and from the mouth of multiple tv doctors… hey.. they may not be doctors.. but they play one on tv… and a baby doctor too..

isn’t it ironic that a neonatologist.. who would and does know all about babies.. talked about and had an abortion… full well knowing that it was a baby.. a child. not just a thing.

isn’t it ironic that a show that has people having sex all the time.. showed the hurt that an abortion can have on a relationship.. even if they were sleeping around…

but the message at the end was… this guy was not going to be a good father.. so the abortion was ok to some degree.. justified.. cause the guy would have made a bad father… how does he know?

in a confused and muddled show.. they showed this truth to be self evident… that abortion hurts relationships.. people think about the day the baby would have been born. that people that have abortions use the words… ‘i aborted my baby’
